i am as well!! but for her case i believe its more on overall societal construct that made her believe she only has herself to depend on at the end of the day especially as a woman of her fragile standing and position. me personally im happy to see her stand tall above it all but hope she knows when to ask help when the time comes (which i hope is soon)

everyone has their own reasons for being that way, and i’m not blaming her for that!! i’m just saying this because i can relate to her in some ways. she’s such a strong character, especially after losing her parents, having a sick grandmother, being mistreated by her relatives, and maybe even being left by her past lover. while i get your point about the societal construct, what i do want to highlight is her personal experience :)
