Basically that all life and death is gods will and should you deviate from his will, it is under his purview to punish you accordingly (by making you remember your past lives and past regrets). God decides all. Both carcel and ines remember their past lives and feel immense guilt over it and as most biblical verse are, it points all fingers back to god which relieves them of their guilt since it’s like “ah but this is still gods plan so I didn’t do anything bad since he created me this flawed!” Ofc it doesn’t work perfectly because you’re still facing the same people and still making the same mistakes and those make you feel bad but the bible verses all have an underlying meaning of “this is gods world and we are just puppets so let him puppeteer you and don’t deviate from the script”. Carcel needs to not do things differently now that he knows and he needs to stop avoiding ines. Ines needs to stop trying to survive alone and needs to rely on carcel for support. Hopefully they can address this head on by talking about the bible and letting out their true feelings.

Basically, Ines recognizes that her time of death is not for her to choose. As the scripture said, there is a time for everything including a time to die. The scripture also says that the time of death for each person is already appointed. Remember in Bilbao Emiliano said he died outside his predestined death according to Apostle Anastasio. That’s why he received a second chance to live so that he can meet his predestined or proper death.

From reading the scripture, Ines is pondering if the reason she keeps repeating her life is because she chose to commit suicide rather than died her true death. This is not a new thought for Ines because her ultimate goal all along in this current life is to meet her proper death. That’s why she tried not to make anymore mistakes. Even after accepting she wants to live for a long time beside Carcel, she still wants to meet her true death in old age and rest eternally afterwards. Ep24 is one of the places where she mentioned she longs for her true death.

    Ep24:
I WILL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN TRUE FREEDOM…AND WITH THAT MY TRUE DEATH WILL BE WAITING FOR ME AND THE END OF THIS LIFE.
