His parents died. His friend died. By the time he was 20, everyone he cherished was gone right before his eyes. He was traumatized and even wished for death. What would you expect? He’s actually showing remarkable character development. I suggest you read the novel.
I came back to read after a while and was thinking how petty Dowon was for being jealous of that S-class guide captain. But then I remembered that Kwonwoo was the one who showered Dowon with affection when he lost his memories. HE was the one who kept going on about how he would never leave Dowon and would still love him even if he gained back his memories. Well, that was a big fat fib.
Now Kwonwoo is as stoic as ever and only shows emotions when Dowon's acting cute or when he's jealous. Dowon felt pathetic bc Kwonwoo acted like he never wanted to be with Dowon and that the imprint was against his consent. Mf, Dowon felt anxious and inferior bc Kwonwoo couldn't reassure him that he still loved Dowon after getting his memories back. I get Kwonwoo's trauma and why it's hard for him to show emotions, but Dowon is literally putting himself down bc their relationship is so shallow (mainly due to miscommunication).
I need the author to hurry up with the plot explain wtf happened to Kwonwoo cuz I'm hating how Dowon is trying to understand Kwonwoo's mixed signals and with Kwonwoo not saying anything.
