I started reading this because I saw so many comments (like, a lot) simping over Ilay, saying things like 'oh, you're missing out,' that I just thought I had to check it out and now that I'm finished, I'm honestly disappointed... I feel nothing but discontent for him.
Sure, he's technically hot, but nothing special (not when we have men like Jaeshin out there) didn’t do anything for me, his personality is far from captivating and the fact that in over 125 chapters we have nothing but grape is just... I don't even have words to describe it. It's honestly so heartbreaking to see how Tay is always crying and in so much pain. Oh, and speaking of Tay, it bothers me so much that he goes through so much shit but always seems to forgive everything and everyone.
I'm curious to know what will happen in the end, so I'll probably keep reading but now knowing what to expect (It's kinda my fault, If I had checked it out before starting, maybe I would’ve been way less disappointed) Anyway, I'll probably never get all the simp over Ilay, it just doesn’t make sense to me at all.
The man who is 10× more beautiful than Ilay and has 10× more character depth. He also has more progression in half the amount of time it is taking ilay. Heck he has shown more character development and personality in the first 10-15 chapters than Ilay.
For me its not just that he's hot it’s a power/competency thing. Like he's so good at fighting and so smart and so confident he literally can and will do anything and be successful.
