Man followed u coz I wanted similar premise bl but if you don't mind reading a novel i recommend the danmei "husky and his white cat shizun" got a character extremely similar to ur description there, but do check the trigger warnings.
wanna see a bl where one of the characters in the couple doesnt feel like he can expect love/isnt worthy of love and has given up on it. like if he asked, he thinks he would be denied even a single shred of love. does this make sense? a kind of hopeless character. i want hurt/comfort thats like that
