The author didn’t need to make the freaking sub a kid who was brought up in an orphanage and then had to work as an escort while having debt to then becoming a boytoy. He is economically, socially, and systematically disenfranchised already, why did the author write the damn sub to be disadvantaged in every way possible with no exits????????????? Why did they choose to write it like this specifically????????????????????? Would have been more interesting if he was financially on her level or higher. She has all the power in every sense possible right now and it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth
