Tbf, it's not that big skip, especially compared to other manhwas with a similar premise - and with how their relationship started off and at this point they honestly don't know what much about each other, more of him knowing Hyunjin by association with the glasses friend/crush. I have some close college friends I met this semester, but I wouldn't track em' down if they pushed me away, I'd just think they need time to themselves and they might want to go through something personal in their own private space. It's not like Hyunjin knew anything was up except for those scratches (which, I've fkn fallen down some stairs before and no one said shit except, you aight? Cuz they knew I was clumsy), so like the people pleaser he is, he left him alone for the most part until this recent chapter where he finally found out there was something really wrong (to which he will track em' down and force his way in btw ).
god this is my fav type of angst altho I’m kinda upset ab the time skip cuz I feel like hyunjin shouldve tried harder to get in contact with him since they hung out together almost every day TT I wouldve gone crazy trying to track even a regular friend down
