The bottoms attitude and depression are completely justified... did you not read the first few chapters detailing how society has abused and isolated anyone associated with the zombie virus? How he was severely bullied for years on end? Besides only having his dad (that can't even respond to him anymore), the top betrayed his trust by trying to kill his dad. I'm not sure what you expect but a normal person would be absolutely miserable and would definitely have trust issues.

I hate when the authors confuse being rude and aggressive with having character. Plus, the zombie concept is interesting but the way the author includes the sex scenes out of nowhere, giving the world and circumstances they’re living in, makes no sense at all. Bummer.
