I think for Kyungsoo's case maybe in this universe beta's sperm cannot impregnate an omega regardless of the process since omega can only react to alpha and betas are considered as the "normal" people. So semen of alpha and omega are something like a padlock and key that are suitable for each other. For Heesoo and Dojun, in my own understanding is that eventually they realized that they don't need to have their own "mini me" version just to see the fruit of their endless love and devotion for one another because at some point it became an insecurity for Heesoo not being able to carry a child for Dojun since he's a beta. Actually I was looking forward to see the possibility of them having their biological child, but I'm glad the author used adoption of a child and dog as a way to open our eyes that family is not just bonded through blood, but with overflowing love that they are willing to share it to people who needed it like their daughter and Dal.
Because in this story beta males can’t get pregnant, and betas can’t get omegas pregnant. And they didn’t want to do “surrogates”, and you can’t have twits just like that. They adopted because they wanted a baby and didn’t cared if the baby was theirs or not. And for Chowoon he wanted “his” baby so that’s why they decided to have a sperm donor. Hope I explained it right hahaha
Reread this again after catching up with the most recent side story. I still don’t understand why Kyungsoo was unable to get Chowon pregnant…like if anything why couldn’t they just artificially do it with Kyungsoo’s sperm? The same with Heesoo and Dojun..they could have gotten a surrogate to have twins one made with each of their dna. I know that’s possible and even more so when done artificially. I know this is just a story lmao but it got me thinking again bc i could have sworn Yoobin was Kyungsoo’s biological kid
