I recently finished the novel so I know when josh tells him in the last chapter of novel that peter is his son and that the alpha whom he forgot was chase and then chase said "yeah I have always believed that I have slept with someone but Grayson told me it was a dog " and then josh explains that he has never slept with a dog, Grayson was just using that dog thing to make him sleep with a real person and release pheromones

Given what he just said he does remember but when I asked before some one said he just remembers that he worked for him before as a bodyguard.
