Unfortunately Yigon is that powerless, we can even see in this chpter the extent of connection that demon has just to… messed up his brother. Trauma also comes into play since Yigon legit had too many near death experiences, and ML is the only variable that is outside of his demon brother’s reach/manipulation. Though i understand your frustration, it’s like until when is he gonna be a doormat. But ptsd is ptsd and unfortunately our Yigon hasn’t reach out to any psychiatrist as well. What makes me mad about this story it that bro is not doing anything he is just relying on others, I expected some master mind plotting not him just crying and taking dumb decisions, worst part is that the most likely thing to happen is that ML solves the situation, man I hate the damsel in distress trope
