That's because a good artist does not equal a good writer
Its just free will. They have the skills so why not make something they like ¯_(ツ)_/¯ simple as that
In my opinion, I believe that they want to see something twisted but no one would draw it. So they try to draw it themselves and the more twisted a person is, the more passionate they're. In result, we have webtoons like this which have a very nice art but messed up plot.
I dont get why good artist always have the most screwed up plot in their head (some)
