well to be fair, Yohan’s parents are EXTREMELY homophobic esp his dad. Hes a terrible person and Yohan feared him the most. You’ll notice right away how uncomfortable that scene was with his family. The reason why he was so angry at Jun was because he thought Jun intentionally wanted to mock and humiliate him right in front of the person he’s so afraid of (his dad is a pastor i believe and Yohan is a closeted ghei) so he’ll want to hurt Jun back and ten times worse. I also think Jun is too nosy for his own good and he shouldnt have done that esp if he doesnt know Yohan’s family dynamic to begin with (thou we all know that he meant well)

I meant about his family. Yohan’s afraid of his father and but when it comes to Jun, well he’s always liked him from the start and Yohan is kinda fvk in the head too. If you meant Yohan is not bothered by what he’s done to Jun in this recent chapters, well yes hes not at all. He wants to hurt Jun and at the same time, wants to own him. Also the novel has more depth when it comes to portraying the characters’ emotions bc you’ll know that Yohan’s emotion was kinda valid but he went wayyyy too far
1) He does not look genuinely afraid of his Father. He is too carefree.
2) I mean by the whole cinema Jun did at the dinner table. He ain't some snowflake.
3) He being primitive is his true self. He is not acting out of anger. He is totally enjoying it.
The plot twist is going to get you BAD
