I’m pretty late but I’ll answer your questions. Okay so first I’m pretty sure the MC’s trauma isn’t explained as much. And the reason why Guwon took off his rings is because when Guwon was about to caress Jinwoo cheek, Jinwoo remembered How Guwon punched that zombie when they were up that big hill, which resulted him slapping Guwon hand away. Guwon asked why did he do that, so Jinwoo made up a lie saying that his rings were cold and scraped a bit of his skin. He believed that lie and took off his rings but later but then back on:))

I just came back to this because I stopped at chapter 15, and I read everything up until the author’s note. This story is so unconventional, and it gives me horror, psychological, apocalyptic vibes. I could honestly see this becoming a popular drama. Like, the universe and story so far is really sturdy. I feel so bad for Jinwoo, poor guy is broken. Guwon is… an interesting character. I love him. He’s so curious, he’s insanely hot, and he does horrible things, but I’m hesitant to call him “evil” or “malicious” right now because his morals (or lack thereof) are still very ambiguous. The hounds all seem super cool and attractive, too. I also like that it seems this BL isn’t going in a typical approach where the MC falls in love with the antagonist despite the trauma, etc. Really playing on the psychological aspect. Jinwoo is so empty and traumatized, and he really hates Guwon for being so monstrous (at least, that’s true for now). I can’t wait to learn more about what happens and what exactly Guwon and the hounds are, and watch Jinwoo butter up to him to make him fall harder.
