Would you rather see him at airport desperately trying to get a ticket and wait till next chap to see if he got it or not? And then see him getting the ticket, wait for the flight then when he gets on one he'll be all antsy on flight and finally we'll see what was the last panel of the current chap? The author put us out of our misery atleast for the short term..

Even if you do have one, you can't just board it and go. The flight needs to be checked for its condition and flueled for the course prior to getting the permission to fly. Then there needs to be permission from the ATC bc they'll have to control the flights aroubd your flight course to avoid accidents. And ofc immigration and visa. Unless you have it on standby at all times where you have all the permissions on hand but that will be very rare.
It's really funny whenever the character arrives just right out of nowhere when the travel itself takes hours and as if nothing happens between those hours. I can't take it seriously
