Kloff is believed to be an Americanized or altered form of older German surnames such as Knopf or Knauff. Historical records trace the Kloff surname to families in the United States and Canada between 1880 and 1920 maybe due to families that moved in to America . As for Aeroc, it’s thought to be an Americanized form derived from Erich, a masculine name of Old Norse and German origin meaning “the one and only” or “ever powerful.”

In short, both names are German in origin but have been adapted into American or Canadian English forms over time.
