Honestly it’s really a balance about sa being romanticised in the story.

Before the bombaya scenes, it realistically shows how heavily the MC is being manipulated and bullied by the “ML” to do the things he (the ML) wants him (the MC) to do with his (the MC) own will once the MC is pushed to the limits. So idk if the bombaya scenes count as SA (someone else can explain how it is or not I hope). But in the start, I think that it’s technically seen that the sa scene is NOT portrayed to be romanticised and is suppose to be a peak through of how gut wrenching the story is going to be and how it led to this situation. Because overall, the story is also suppose to be about the MC’s burnout and how he’s easily persuade to do the things his “ML” wants him to do by pushing his buttons and having no choice but to follow him or do what he says. (I hope this makes sense, I would had put some ch’s as an example to support my statements and make it more understandable, but I don’t wanna spoil it for u )
