If I remember correctly, this was why the native Americans created the Wendigo. It was to prevent stuff like cannibalism happening during winter when starvation was a common thing during that season. I wonder if Denim will be that 'Wendigo' even though she herself didn't partake in cannibalism (or at least we didn't see her eating that human soup).

    It's a creature from Native American folklore that eats human flesh and born from cannibalism. I only know about it because of the famous game called Until Dawn, which uses this creature as the game's monster.
