No, I believe I remember that he’s training both his sons in management! That’s why the older brother was mad when he seen that Taeha was also there at the hotel working! He said it appears that their dad expects them to duke it out over the future position!

There’s not enough info right now about the parent situation but I do recall Taehee hating Taeha because he’s an illegitimate child that was brought in out of nowhere when he was still young. Since she is his legal wife, then it is most likely that she is Taehee’s mom. She may just care about Taeha too, which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to wives having to take in their husband’s affair child! I don’t know where Taeha’s mom is. Yes, the last comment from the dad confirms that “sexy mommy” is actually talking about Taeha, meaning she’s Taeha’s mom. From what I understand from this chapter, I don’t think the dad is as bad as he seemed so far. I was really confused about whether he was on Taeha’s side or not, and why he kept tabs on him. But since he said something soft about Taeha and mentioned that he isn’t as cold as her, it feels like he’s not the toxic one or the one who abandoned his wife. It also seems possible that he didn’t actually cheat, but got together with Taeha’s mom later, after his ‘previous wife passed away. (since i just saw someone comment that one of the brothers’ mom died, which i forgot i ever read.) There’s definitely still a lot left to uncover about the dad’s story.

I think you guys keep forgetting that Taehee is the older brother. Taehee even talks about their childhood and how much he wished he could of killed Taeha because he came out of nowhere and Taehee feels that he doesn’t deserve anything that rightfully belongs to him, the child of the legal wife of Taejoo! I can find the chapter that Taehee was talking about that if you want.

Look at chapter 44. Taehee calls Taeha “the bastard child.”

The dad cheat on his wife with his lover then the wife gets her killed so the dad abandons her but not tossing her away, Taeha was his secret child all these years now he’s being introduced in public as his 2nd so the mom the proud she is treats him as her son!

But honestly I don’t think the dad ever cared about his sons I think he only wants his seed to inherit the business it didn’t matter which seed!

I’m well aware that Taehee is the older brother and it’s mentioned in my comment. Read my comments again. That’s why I said, dad is disappointed in Taehee because he didn’t live up to the expectations of a first son and child of the first wife dad was in love with. I’m going off the translator but this chapter implies that the woman is Taeha’s mother and not the legal wife or the dad doesn’t love her.

Hmm. You know what, I’m just going to wait a little longer for the chapters to reveal more! You could be right, but I do like definitive proof over insinuations.
