I haven’t really read Roses and Champagne in depth, but I’ve read the entirety of Codename Anastasia, so my opinion will be biased.
The little I did read of Roses and Champagne though, I get the impression that Caesar is a lot more volatile and unhinged that Zhenya.
I’ve only read some of the things Caesar did to Lee Won, and while Zhenya did his share of horrible things, once he realized his feelings, he never purposely hurt Taekjoo. He also never really emotionally manipulated Taekjoo like I’ve been told Caesar did to Lee Won. Oh and shooting him and raping him afterwards? I believe that happened after they were dating ( I’m talking about Caesar).
All in all, even with all the bad shit Zhenya did, I think Caesar takes the cake.
SPOILER:
In the coming chapters Zhenya is going to lose his cool and choke Taekjoo to unconsciousness.
In part 2, Taekjoo loses his memories, and while having sex, he wants Zhenya to choke him. Zhenya doesn’t want to, afraid he’ll hurt him, but eventually relents. As soon as Taekjoo loses consciousness, he lets go and checks that’s he’s ok and thinks about how ever since that time he almost killed Taekjoo he’s never tried to do so again and is very shaken.
Not sure if Caesar ever had that sort of epiphany.
Who is worse Zhenya or Cesar?????
