I mean, everyone has their story. How Nathan acted and thought is pretty... rational? ("why should I ask why or fight if it's the end?"). And, it did hurt the party, that's for sure. Although, even if lots of people appear to criticize him for it (maybe because he doesn't seem to value relationships?), we don't have the full picture yet in my opinion.
Or.. maybe we do and I just don't remember because there are a lot of chapters x)
Anyway, don't self-flagellate about this. Your pain is valid. :)

this is such a kind comment, thank you :( i did need to hear this kdhdk ive been having a rough time lately. but yeah for me it seems i just have a tendency to be avoidant (trauma) but im trying my best in my current relationship to be transparent about it. i think the stuff nathan did wasn't the nicest but i totally understand him being frustrated so idk i dont get why ppl are reading this hating on him when he's gonna get back together with andrew anyway

My best friend is like this. They have such massive trauma that people are almost replaceable in a way. But I understand that you will still enjoy being with someone and like them, it’s just a defense mechanism your brain set up to avoid feeling betrayed or abandoned again. Don’t beat yourself up, just work through it. You can learn to let people in again.
this chapter hit hard for me damn. why am i just like nathan,,,,,,,,,
