I somewhat agree, but heavily disagree. Ever take a moment to wonder why it’s less emotional in terms of art style? We’re on an island and it’s building the stage for a new event. Because the series up until now has been mystery, shoot out, blah blah blah, a lot of things backed into one, it means that because there isn’t as much going on anymore, it isn’t called for these scenes. Also, I do think that the whole boat ordeal and trying to sneak out in the bathroom is a setup for a general idea of “can’t get out” rather than these emotional scenes we’ve had in the past.
Don’t read all this if u don’t wanna btw, just my take and everyone can have their own opinions.

Nah, that's just coping. This whole series is getting worse and worse with every single decision I'm not even going to talk about how static and dry drawn it is, or how they seem like two robots, but overall the storytelling is awful. The drawnstory is literally sprinting through the story, compared to the novel it feels like lovers problems, whereas in the novel Taekjoo was going through utter hell. There's no 4d chess thoughtfulness in it, just a bunch of bad decisions lmao

When I say “emotionless,” I mean their facial expressions and body language don’t really convey any feelings. Their faces look too blank and monotonous. The drawings have definitely become more handsome — I’m not complaining about that. I still like the story, but the characters’ faces look more like paintings to admire rather than ones that express emotion.
Drawing become more handsome but emotionless
