even tho he literally didn’t do anything with the kid, the constant way it was made seem like he did is what makes it disturbing. also there’s nothing likable abt the nurse lol. also the concept of mixing sexual activity with past childhood trauma is not it.

idk call me woke but i don’t think defending this manga and sayin it’s a 5/5 is the correct hill to die on.

actually there was a line from the kid that said “he touched me” or something along those lines so maybe the nurse is objectively irredeemable

“Touched me” as in he felt touched by his words my heart but tbh i agree, tengoku’s first impression was horrible imo, his forcefulness and arrogance makes him so unlikable to me, i feel like there could have been different ways to portray his relationship with the student too, the correlation between sexual desires and childhood trauma reflects how psychology has found that every kink is a trauma response of some sort so in atsurou’s case as a child he only ever gets comforted and cared for if he was or is in pain, his childhood trauma has rewired his brain into thinking that pain IS pleasure and throughout the manga as he heals and processes his trauma he doesn’t need to rely on pain to feel good anymore. Nonetheless this manga isn’t everyone’s cup of tea so I wouldn’t blame you for dropping it
