Logically speaking, any child being beaten can lead to life long consequences one of the many problems is their brain development. Serial killers (not to compare him to one but hes obviously off his rockers) arent just born out of thin air, most of them are a product of many factors and the biggest one is the environment in which one grew up in and any forensic psychologist or behavioral scientist has proven this. Im not defending the ML by any means btw im just being technical about it

So we have to sit through so many chapters of him being tortured and raped but his revenge arc is left up to us to write in our heads? This is so daft. Even if it was a single chapter of him getting his revenge that would have been better. What’s the point of a time skip to end it with a cliffhanger.
Also, someone mentioned it but I truly rolled my eyes during the antagonist whole speech about “you were born in a good family so that’s why you’re not bad!” Girl you make choices, your dad beating you is not a good enough reason to because a murdering, kidnapping human trafficking rapist.
