I don't think it was necessarily to be adamant on 'being' straight. It was all he has ever known and liked. He could not identify his feelings for him properly and kept telling n saying he likes girls so he you knwo, wouldn't waste his time.
They both played many games tho and went around too many times before they could get 'serious' about everything
waayyy too many insecurities, but reasonable in that sense..? so adamant on being straight, was soooo annoying.
