I think that The university that's far away is probably a really good school for his field so maybe he wanted to go there so he will have a better chance at being successful in the future for Hirokawa sake so he'll be a suitable partner for him in order for his father to accept him
That's what I thought. But if this is gna strain their relationship, yamato is losing sight of the original objective which was to //stay together//! I mean what's the point of going to college to be able to stay with hirokawa when going away to college will tear them apart!? THIS IS A NEVER ENDING PARADOX. JUST MAKE UP ALREADYYYY (even though you haven't fought about it yet)

They really need to talk because they almost don't have any 'long conversations' about the things they plan yet.
If he is really going to a very far university, then he should at least tell his cinnamon roll, in that way he would understand, even though it will hurt his feelings.

How come he's going away though? Didn't he want to go to college for takato? Does he think a college far away will be better?? Then at least explain that that's what he's doing it for!!
