right?? i thought only i was feeling underwhelmed after reading the novel. i love the art but i miss the s1 storytelling

Eactly, they both lost their personalities and charm; it feels like looking at two robots, cuz how much static and dry it is
The novel has so much more story into it, when reading the new chapters I’m so shocked at how fast a scene goes by, because in the novel it’s goes on forever, and goes into more depth and emotion. The newer chpters make feel like I’m reading two robots now. even the last season felt like it had more personality to it. . (Then again it’s the novel, and they usually have more depth, so I shouldn’t be surprised by the differences) :p
