The FL is partly at fault too. The ML is actually a green flag at the beginning compared to other demon but she decieved him.
U need to get ur eyes check. ML was never a green flag what. The FL still doesn't remember her past life with him. In my view they both are red flags but he's way way way worse.

Basically the ML is a demon and a swan is only a breeding tool for them. The only reason why swan came to their world is to have the demon an heir but they are not obligated to love them. That's why he's a green flag compared to other demon. She also deceived the ML and it was his revenge why he brought her back. You will understand why once the story of their first meet up unfolds.
