his mom didn’t “come back 50million years later wanting a second chance and expecting him to drop everything” ?? HE went to visit her and once he expressed he rly enjoyed being there, she gave him the option of staying if that’s what he wished to do bc she understood/acknowledged that she wasn’t there for him and now wants to help him however she can. whether that means giving him more stability (which he wants) or just to spend time with his mom. she didn’t push him to make a decision n is even giving him the chance to think about it/change his mind. she made a decision years ago that maybe she now regrets, sure but this situation about whatshisface and him possibly moving (which we know he’s not) is all on him, not her.

and why did he go to visit HER? bc she finally reached out and offered he come over. she’s a horrible mother and abandoned her child, and she wants to rebuild what she left. it doesn’t matter if she supported him financially, she left him and built a new life for herself without him directly involved. that’s why he is the way he is, he didn’t grow up with love so he latched onto hwibum and behaves childishly bc he never had a chance to be a child or receive unconditional love. and he wouldn’t have even considered moving there permanently if she hadn’t brought it up. he went there with the intention to see his family and have a vacation with hwibum, not with thoughts of learning the workings of the business and taking over. SHE put that idea into his head. job searching both in fiction and the real world is rough, he would eventually get a job. she didn’t have to offer him anything and mind you they’d only been together for a few days after YEARS of being apart. she obviously felt guilty and wanted to have her son close now but she shouldn’t have made such a sudden offer in the first place regardless of her intentions, she doesn’t have that kind of role in his life when she willingly gave it up

are u fucking serious lol did u even READ the story? chapter 40 if u wanna go back and actually read it? apart from the fact that she left bc she was being harassed and nearly KILLED by of her husband’s family (in korea while her family was in the states), she asked him MULTIPLE TIMES to go with her when she first left. she even said “how could i possibly leave you here alone?” and when he was hesitant and said no anyway, she even suggested he live with his dad instead if he didn’t want to move to another country. in her apology, she even said she considered forcing him to come with her but she “couldn’t bring herself to do that when he clearly didn’t want to.” u would’ve called her a horrible mother for that had she had actually done that anyway, wouldn’t u? LOL “he didn’t grow up with love”.. are u forreal?? his whole story is that he had a perfect family and they loved each other so much. she was the one who started calling him a lucky charm. she was the one who risked her life to protect him from the crash. he was in HIGH SCHOOL when she moved away. he was very well loved growing up. and saying that they only went to visit her bc “she finally reached out and offered he come over” ?? when did THAT happen?? they went to visit bc HWIBUM said they should go visit her bc they were both going to be on break soon and bc he wanted to see his baby pictures which his mother had. which mind u, would a mother who doesn’t love her child take his childhood pictures with her? but ANYWAYS, god forbid a mother hear her son say he wishes he had no worries and immediately step in and say he can stay with her if he’d like. him learning the business isn’t even her first suggestion. her first suggestion was to stay and take it easy or continue his studies. he’s the one who fixated on learning her business bc he wanted to get a job quickly to become “reliable” for hwibum. “she doesn’t have that kind of role in his life when she willingly gave it up” SHE IS HIS MOTHER. SHE DIDNT WILLINGLY DO ANYTHINGGG. IT WAS A HARD DECISION SHE MADE FOR HER SAFETY AND STABILITY AND HE MADE HIS DECISION TO STAY. calling her a “horrible mother who abandoned her child” is just fucking crazy.
