Pretty sure they said "can't differentiate fiction and reality" and not fiction can't impact reality. Meaning they can tolerate what's written in fictional stories but don't agree or endorse it in real life because thats what grownups do, they know what's right or wrong irl but can enjoy fictions that have taboos in it. Also did they say specifically it's the grape they found cute? Like chill, their comments aren't gonna burn down your house. And people are still gonna write stuff you might dislike as long as it's not against the law (otherwise the author is already behind bars long ago), and there's no way you can control that. What you can do is pick fictional stories that suit you best just like how you curate your space on the internet
