It point out the differences between romantic attraction vs romantic attachment.
Attraction is heavily indicated by the excitement when you see your crush or first love, as how felt when he described his experiences with Hajin.
Attachment on the other hand involves a sense of security with one. Being willing to expose your flaws because of how accepting they are. Jooan clearly deminstrates this with Seojoon.
Imo losing someone you are attached to is more painful than losing someone you are attracted to. Because as soon as your confidante/close friend or whatever your relationship is leaves you, the pain takes a while to go away. It can take years.
