This might be a hot-take, but I hate when they add romance in the story just to have the trope. To me honestly, it don’t really make sense why she is so in love with Yurien. It would make more sense if she has very strong admiration or infatuation like she wanted to have a sort of Compadre with him. But this love sort of feels rushed, cause the only reason she likes him is because he is the one person who believed she wasn’t fully evil, but I also get that she likes him and why she folded so easily. But her love for him doesn’t make him special like it could’ve been anyone who also believed in her(like do you get what I mean?). This might just be my need for a powerful female lead without any romance or if it is romance then I would love it to be Girl love(not yuri cause it Don’t have to be sexual at all bruh)
