In the story, there are 2 alphas. The first one that connverts the MC into an omega during a one night stand is the ML. He's the one I'm referring to as the puppy alpha.
The second one is the ex who dumped the MC for not being an omega. The MC ends up punching him in the face. It looked like a side relationship might be developing for him with the silver haired friend of the ML (the one who got him the job).
I didn't read/look into anything any further than that, though. I didn't want to fully spoil the story, but was going to drop if he seriously got back together with the douchebag ex.

No clue what happens between Chapter 10 & Chapter 18.
But by chapter 18, he's punched the ex in the face and is solidly together with the new, puppy alpha.
