Hmm... I think because the imprinting is causing health troubles to mc due to overexposure to pheromones. And guiding pheromones bursts out a lot especially during seggs. I long forgot the details but that's what i vaguely remember?
The imprinting lets remote guiding, so just being around each other means guiding, if they hadn’t imprinted they could just go at it without guiding, but if they do so while imprinting he can faint again due to the remote guiding and end up in the hospital

If u experienced enough u can lessen the remote guiding. its supoosed to be that after the rough patch of being heavily effected u can guide like that w/o any problems. having sex or js hanging out easier as well as the benefit of not having to be intimate to guide efficiently. Its usually smthn lovers do since the price of being able to guide and receive guiding as much as u want without any health or overcharge problems is that u cant guide or be guided by anybody else except u guide unless one dies.
