im pretty sure hugh dies in the fire and george tries to get revenge on raymond a couple years later and raymond ends up killing george

The story continues on into the MCs late 30s/early 40s, and he ends up killing them all except for jerome and simon. Jerome kills simon and the MC and Jerome end up together. They buy a house and live in the woods and stuff
