
Rian outsmarted him once and that caught his attention. I’m not sure what he’s feeling right now is necessarily love, it feels more like obsession and seeing Rian as a challenge to conquer. Like an exciting game if you will. He’s surrounded by sycophants and people well below him mentally and physically, so going up against Rian and besting him is a fun game to break the monotony. As a bonus, he finds Rian physically attractive so there’s also the sexual domination. He’s getting possessive and jealous of Rian’s promiscuity because he can’t stand the fact that Rian might have his attention elsewhere other than him (cause he’s also narcissistic as hell).
That’s how I read his character anyway. To be completely honest, I don’t really get the bird metaphors either.
Can someone explain to me why Enzo likes Rian? Why does he get blush and excited, with crazed obsessed face. He's referenced his dead pet hawk. But I don't understand the metaphor for how the Rian is supposed to be like the hawk. Someone pls halp
