He’s lowkey a bad doctor?? Bro was explicitly told not to mess with bros piercings,,, and then had the nerve to come up with excuses for why he shouldn’t do his job and put it back…. Like it’s not your choice??? Bros resistant to putting a piercing back but has no issues putting a catheter in?? If he didn’t want to do it himself a nurse could have.. like be so forreal (-10 empathy for whatever happens to him from now on)

Infection is a valid excuse tho... and in what world do piercings and catheters stand equal T.T the cath was standard procedure since he was post op

kinda an L opinion my guy... this isn't a DNR-type situation where the patient's decision can't be undermined by the physician in charge. same goes with other medical cases, if assessed as a risk for infection by the doctor that can hinder healing, of course they'll get rid of it (especially when it's such a large stake of potential amputation).

I’m not saying that they stand equal, nor am I saying that the risk of infection isn’t valid… but he would know if it was infected, and I’m certain he was only using that as an excuse to not have to put it back… because he literally said he didn’t want to put it back. Valid excuse or not, it’s still not really his decision?? I could understand if it actually WAS infected, but he only said that it COULD GET infected.. any piercing COULD get infected.

Okay but that was not the case here… and why are you bringing up DNR shit when it has absolutely nothing to do with this. I understand that if it was infected, or risking infection elsewhere, why it would need to be removed… but that did not look to be the case here. If the author was actually taking this reasoning seriously,, they probably wouldn’t have drawn the piercings shiny and pristine.. they were probably healed and everything. Idc if you’re calling it an “L opinion” this is 2025.
