Then the reason she was in the tower was because her safety is important. The reason the brambles covered the forest around the tower was cuz the cursed were low key protecting the tower.
Mikel beat his own uncle mercilessly because her safety was a priority so it was an obvious move even if he’d hurt the guy. Mikel is willing to die for her cuz it’s her or nothin.
Wonder what curse Rapunzel has... Maybe one of loneliness, where the people around her die and that's why the witch kept her isolated? Everyone in the cursed village died after she went there.
