To me it was very clear from the beginning of the story what was really going on but I guess not everyone is able to see the undertone of what is actually happening to the uke so early in the story. The uke’s personality and behavior are major tells though. If you decide to read to the end of the story thus far and you are able to feel empathy for characters who have had a different experiences than you, then I think you might change your mind.
As for my view, I don't see the need to wait for the end of the story just to change my mind. I believe a real good story could capture my sense of fulfillment just by the beginning of how characters handle their problems. This is just another immature story.
Ya this kind of story isn’t for everyone. The story is a dark and eerily realistic portrayal of grooming and abuse which happens so slowly the victim is unable to recognize it, a tale all too common in real life. With so much dubcon and uke abuse in most stories being portrayed as romantic, I find the story to be refreshing. But it is a very slow burn and I have heard the story is quite long so it’s def gonna get way worse before it gets better. Most certainly not everyone’s cup of tea.
i'm 9 chapters in and the only thing i wanna say is that the actor top should've never tried to tangle his life with the swimmer bottom. nothing will ever come out good with someone who's fucked up enough to agree with a dom sub relationship.
