Actually I don't think Lizzy knew OurCiel that much when they were little, when Lizzy huged Ciel after he came back from the cult, Ciel said ''Lizzy'' but the people who were translating were suppose to translate to ''Elizabeth'' which is more formal, less familiar. Tanaka didn't say anything because OurCiel didn't say anything either. It was going to cause a LOT of drama since our Ciel wasn't the heir.

Maybe Toboso will show us some story about OCiel being captive in the residence and something like that, but that would be REAAAAAALLY cliché, forced and unreal.
And yeah, of course you can say "oh they knew but didn't want to say" but that just make a lame excuse for a lame plot.
I really hope a lot more from Toboso than this.
