Jake doesn't really go "batshit". He is very methodical and cold-blooded when he kills. That said, this very scenario of yours has already been played out once before [see Chap 16- "Jake Literally Tears Stupid Thug a New One for Laying Hands on His Man"]

Like I want to see him go batshit crazy and kill everybody over shin. Like I want someone to attempt to kidnap or kill Shin or something and Jay just comes blazing in seeing red and shooting everyone just to rescue his piece of ass.
