I could be wrong but I don't think he remembers, I think Doha just made up that story and told him so thats what he believes since he has no memory.

No he didn't burn it he just hiding it. I think this is like save system in a game where you lost your data, start form the beginning and still can save the progress you made.
No I mean he killed Bada to prove he wasn't lying about them being in a game. But he woke up with memories of the last game.

Well he showed him the tape player and everything. I can only assume they did but as we learned in season 1 Bada's perspective isn't reliable.
I think Bada saved the game using a new tape. Im assuming new tapes are spawn each game so it's infinite. Just like when they restored Yong-taek's memories accidentally, taek only remembers what that specific tape holds. Later on, Bada discovered another tape holding Yong-taek's oldest memories of him playing with the the whole group excluding Bada. That's why he was overwhelmed and got a nosebleed, right? This is just my assumption, not entirely sure. Im still trying to catch up with the plot.

maybe you missed it but they used a new tape in ch 58 to save bada's memory for this new playthrough that's why he retained his memories.

I thought if they died while their tape was removed they lost their memory?? How did Bada die and remember? I feel like I missed something. They're looking for his tape, but nothing except his previous memory changed.
