The thing is, the guilt and action of violence that was taken upon his takes over that. Humanitarian rights on civilians and justice is a huge thing in the justice field (police, military, lawyers). So yes he’s not completely innocent but with law, once anyone finds out that a civilian was wrongly tortured (as if they were a terrorist) the whole case on drugs can be and would have been thrown out. (I’m studying law lol)

You aren't studying US law because that's not at all how it works here, lol.
Justice has absolutely nothing to do with it here.
If some private party, which is what the ML is, kidnaps you and tortures you that doesn't mean you won't be prosecuted. You will be prosecuted and convicted. It may reduce your sentence, depending on how the judge feels and if they're up for election, but there's no guarantee.

That's a really weird and insulting way to respond to my comment.
I tell them they clearly aren't in the US, which means I know everyone isn't from the US. You don't need to tell me again that not everyone is from the US. I then explain how messed up the US "Justice" system is because, again, I know not everyone is from the US and understands how it works here. My comment is very clearly written under the assumption that not everyone is in the US.
Reading comprehension is hard. You're obviously from the US because otherwise you would be better educated and better reading comprehension.

yeay " you aren't studying us law because thats not how itis here" is certainly a very nice thing to say right? the op didn't mention us , you brought that up so ofc I will point that out. What was even the point ? neither the characters are from us nor the op. And just cause some law allows to physically harm civillians doesnt make that right

I brought up US law because that's where I'm from and I specified I'm talking about US law because I know that other person could be from somewhere else. It's actually normal to mention your country and the country you're talking about when you're talking about something specific to that country.
You're incredibly stupid.

You do not know me so please do not get smart with me. Born and raised in the south. Yes in U.S law, a lot of the drug possession case would be thrown or slapped as a misdemeanor since they tortured the civilian. My guess is it would become a human rights Supreme Court case.‘it’s realistic to think that a private entity or the special forces government (retired navy family)!would want to “get rid of him”. Look at the state of our country now.

I think the supreme Court would definitely side against human rights. They've been pretty consistent about it the past year or so, lol.
Ice could absolutely kidnap and torture somebody, then get a conviction with no sentencing consideration at all for the torture. They'd be lucky if they got to go to prison in the US instead of being sent to some random foreign prison that's much worse. I'm just saying... I think you're being very naive about the state of our country and the justice system.
Or maybe I'm being way too pessimistic but who knows
They already told us in the manhwa that he was found with drugs on him. They know he's not an innocent civilian and it's weird they're making him out to be one. Not that I think you should be abducted and tortured for smuggling drugs... You should be in prison though.
