MC not stupid

Lmao, I just saw someone gave it 1 star and called the MC stupid because he was given 6 lives and still failed 5 of them. Nope, I totally relate to him. The MC is more human-like than many other reborn MCs. Imagine you play a game for the first time—how many "game overs" do you get before you finish the game? Yeah, the MC is in the same situation. Moreover, he was reborn a day before his initial death; he was confused, upset, and vengeful. And you expect him to think like some genius in that situation?

Major Spoilers - of the whole plot.

MC has died 5 times. His fifth death he thought he was close to killing the enemy who caused the unjust demise of his family and himself. As he’s dying he sees the enemy kingdom’s Prince run up to him clearly devastated and distraught to see him dying. He thinks the Prince betrayed him by siding with this enemy due to seeing a letter with the enemy’s insignia. He wakes up to ro his sixth life surprised he has another chance when he was told only 5 lives had been given to him. MC is labeled a traitor, which is what led to the death of his family and his capture. Things go differently when the Prince buys him as a slave unlike the 5th life, his origins in arriving in the enemy nation being caused by human trafficking. Everything goes sideways from there in relation to the Prince. Prince makes him fight in a match as a slave, if you get to the 10th battle of the death you get a noble title and MC desperately wants the title to fit his plan for revenge and also avoid gruesome torture like his previous lives. Prince defeats MC at the 9th round to prevent MC from getting the noble title and then marries him :P. Prince is enamored with MC yet malevolent at times, completely unlike his character in the 5th life. MC struggles in adapting to this change in persona but takes stride in keeping up with political machinations that took place in the 5th. They’re able to pass all of these struggles using his hidden knowledge of the 5th life. At some point the Prince realizes MC had to have returned as well as we the audience have come to learn that the Prince returned from the 5th life and he’s wishy-washy with MC bc MC was his first and only love. They can’t trust each other. MC develops feelings for Prince and is upset with Prince not trusting him. They clear up any misunderstandings from the 5th life but MC is solely focusing on revenge. He gets his revenge- his enemy is killed after writing a confession. People now want to constantly kill him bc of his origins as a “traitor”. More battles ensue. Then Prince becomes emperor, MC becomes Yin being- surprise he can get pregnant- and they have 3 kids. Happily ever after.

That’s the bare bones plot. <3 it was good and I liked that MC was so detached after 5 deaths and wanting only revenge. It’s nothing revolutionary but I will say I was absolutely flabbergasted when I learned that people could become the Yin to one’s Yang and get pregnant lmfao.
