i think it’s because the top found out the bottom was only using him for like scripts or something before they actually fell in love might be wrong tho

yes, iirc mc approached ml to “study” him and use him as material for a script or something but ml sorta misunderstood and took his persistence as interest in him. Mc went along with it anyways because he caught feelings too but ml found his own “research material” on mc’s computer and assumed mc was using him this entire time. No communicating, no chance to explain, mc is also not good at showing emotions or communicating so it all led to them breaking up.

ml found out he was using for his novel and other than that, he was the only one making an effort in keeping their relationship after he (the ml) stopped contacting even mc realised that they would never meet up if it wasn't for ml like he genuinely was the one who took out time and made sure they could be together

juheon actually gave dohu multiple chances to explain, but dohu blew them by saying revealing the truth would've only made them fight and he wanted to keep it hidden forever, and not realizing that juheon wanted an apology. however, juheon still wanted to go back to him, but realized he'd be falling back to his old patterns by doing so (ignoring how his loved ones were hurting him just bc he loved them, and throwing himself at them when they didn't reciprocate his affection). so honestly, there was no miscommunication as their relationship wasn't very well balanced and juheon realized that, as did dohu after their breakup, so it was ultimately the best thing for them bc now they'll both fight harder for what they want for themselves :))
