His omega son doesn't have the time for that. So marrying him to a country known to cherish omega will be a smart move. His son will have more opportunity than if he stay in his homeland. Besides, where do the king has any spare time when the country has problems that lead to now critical condition.

You are missing my point. He had the capability to care for his son as royalty and at least teach his other son basic decency. This “coming back to the homeland” arc is a means for the author to prolong the story and provide closure for the protagonist’s earlier mistreatment by his family.
Frankly, I believe it was done poorly and just excuses the king’s actions.
In my PERSONAL opinion, I don’t find their actions realistic and I would definitely not forgive my father for marrying me off to a stranger (they still exchanged goods- riches for a bride ).

Also, I’m not saying the situation was not realistic or that he could just fix his country just like that. His behaviour did not align with his arguments and forgiveness was given very freely in a fast moving plot point that seemed to want to “wrap up” the story.
