The fish is 19 years old so dw he’s an adult. They explained that they made him a student cause he’s pretty much learning stuff about the land walkers. Since the sea ones have a completely different perspective and environment. Ig it was the quickest way as well since he also doesn’t know how to speak and he just learned how to walk, I’ve read up ahead on some rlly scuffed translations and it wasn’t bad and kinda entertaining in a funny way

Nah ur valid I was also worried abt him being a school student while the guy he ends up with is like the school nurse but people said his age range is 20-24(?) so it’s not a huge age gap. I’m still a lil “ehh” cause yaknow they made him a high school student it would’ve been fine if they were in college or sum but ig turning the fish into a high school student was the only way to tie him with the other two characters(?)
