Definitely worth the read. But you gotta give it a shot and understand the lens of the time period you’re reading it through. FL and ML are very protective of each other, which is what led to the current situation. The story is done pretty realistically so some readers hated the ML at first and now everyone loves him. I personally enjoyed it from the start because of how authentic the characters felt, especially ina. Time where you can conquer and own territories like the ML generally does.
I don't want to based my judgement by reading the last chapter that the FL can't freaking talk and just being a noble where she let other people trample her.... I am so done reading stories where the FL can't fight for herself.
