My lil sis constantly tries to teach me things or asks me questions trying to confirm if I understand shit....."CHICK I AM FUCKING OLDER THAN YOU BY 6 FUCKING YEARS I'VE GRASPED CONCEPTS MUCH SOONER AND FASTER THAN YOU SO WHY YOU TRYING TO EDUCATE ME LIKE I NEED EXTRA CREDIT STUDY HALL?!?" Is what I used to be thinking but then I realized she's not trying to undermine my intelligence she's simply has a mental practice of confirming a subject or want to discuss something she's interested in with me, it really was to what I believed and in my opinion was like a boomer cursed way of thinking that I was experiencing. Now it's hella easy to talk to her without getting offended (unless she uses the wrong tone then the gloves are off and I will get combative and try to correct it or down right tell her, if she thinks I'm slow enough to not understand the simple shit coming out of her mouth) I love her to death but sometimes my ego won't allow me to be looked down upon.
