the ages in this story are a bit weird bc ml called them mc a kid too at the start of the story when he’s 35.. the author must think being in your thirties is young?
As far as I see, it's pretty unclear what her age is. She was probably in her early 20s, but I re-read the chapter and it says "She was working part time to save up for college." This could mean she was on her last year raising money for college or she was taking a break and working part time to save up for college. Either could be true, especially because it seems she didn't care that much about going straight into college since she did end up taking night classes after her son was born. But we need more info on what happened.
